You can see snowfalls even in Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. For winter vacations, the eastern states of India are also subject to a heavy winter season.
The climate in winter is quite different in the South and Western Indian states. These states do not have extreme winters, and the only hill stations that experience cold winters are located in these areas. Other than the hill stations, the climate elsewhere is not cold and cold. Due to security concerns, I won’t recommend many eastern destinations in India. However, there are some places that are worth visiting. The most popular ones being the Mussouri hill stations and Darjeeling. Winter in India’s northern regions offers a cold travel experience. For those who enjoy wandering in the snowy mountains and cool weather, the Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir are recommended. The southern part of India has a completely different climate during winter. It is a great place to visit for a vacation or honeymoon in India because of its beaches, palaces and wildlife richness. During winter, South India’s top tourist destinations include Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad as well as Hyderabad, Kochi, Hampi. Munnar, Kovalam and Mysore.
The same is true for Western States like Goa, Maharashtra, and Gujarat that will not experience extreme cold in winter. You can spend your vacation with family and friends on the beaches of Mumbai or Goa, or just chill with friends. It is home to a wealth of wildlife resources and forests, making it an ideal place for wildlife enthusiasts.
