How Is Hemp Oil Extracted For Making Capsules?

How Is Hemp Oil Extracted For Making Capsules?

by Cherie McCord

In recent years, the terms “hemp oil”, “hemp oil” and “CBD oil” have definitely clouded the waters. Often times when you search for information on “hemp oil” you will suddenly find that the article switches to talking about CBD oil. Some authors seem to be confused about the difference, maybe they are not that well informed on the subject, haven’t done the proper research, or are just misinformed. Be that as it may, finding the right information is certainly more difficult. Hemp oil is not CBD oil in any way, shape, or form. CBD oil is obtained from the flowers and leaves of the hemp plant, while hemp seed oil is produced exclusively from the seeds of the plant.

As part of a healthy diet, consuming hemp capsules supports the immune system, digestive health, heart health, circulatory health, and cognitive function. You can get the energy you need to carry out your everyday activities from the nutritious proteins in hemp seed oil, which serve to fuel you throughout the day. Maintaining excellent mental health also heavily depends on eating the right foods. Having enough fuel keeps you from being exhausted and rundown, which lowers stress levels and promotes a happy, healthy existence.

Where does hemp seed oil come from?

Hemp oil comes from the seeds of the hemp plant, a genus of the hemp family. Unlike its cousin marijuana, hemp plants do not contain significant amounts of the psychoactive compound “THC,” which is well known as the compound responsible for the “high” feeling of consuming marijuana. In Europe, cannabis plants must by law contain less than 0.2% THC. Hemp seeds naturally contain no THC, CBD, or any other cannabinoids, so if you’re worried about that, don’t worry! They are simply a highly nutritious and rather tasty superfood that could make a significant contribution to your overall health and well-being.

Hemp seeds are cold-pressed to extract the oil, and the remaining parts of the seed are separated to make other hemp food products like protein powder (hemp seeds are incredibly high in protein!) and flour. The “cold pressed” part is important here. If the seeds are heated above ~170°C (355°F), the essential fatty acids begin to break down and the seeds/oil become less nutritionally rich. After pressing the seeds, the resulting oil is filtered through a fine mesh and bottled ready for use. Making hemp capsules is an amazingly simple and completely natural process.

Conclusion

The benefits to your health and well-being are numerous. If capsules are not your thing, or you want to experience the taste of hemp oil, then you may want to consider using hemp oil in its liquid form, in which case you can find bottled Organic Hemp Oil on the internet.
