This countertop gives your kitchen or bathroom a natural look and warmth to the room.  Although it can be used in the bathroom, most prefer to use it only in the kitchen.  Two of the popular options are maple and oak.  They come in a wide range of finishes and colors.

  • Easy to clean
  • When taken care of correctly, they will last for a long time.
  • To refresh, it is easy to sand and reseal them
  • Gives your room a rustic appearance

Cons

  • Can be expensive
  • It is easy to cut or scratch them with knives
  • Not totally water or stain proof
  • To avoid bacteria issues, you have to maintain them with frequent oiling and sanding
