What Makes Rise City Unique?
Rise City has no specific story line; instead it allows players to live any kind of life they want using almost limitless options. There are no limits to what you can do in Rise City! You can create your own story, with your unique character and your unique life.
What is the City Like?
The city is a thriving metropolis with tall skyscrapers and crowded streets. You can explore the bustling city centre, where you might bump into a famous architect or an up-and-coming artist. There are many places of interest, including museums, art galleries and parks. Or perhaps you’ll head out of town on some retail therapy – Rise City Mall has everything you could ever need!
There are also more seedy areas that harbour crime such as Jacko’s Bar or Maude’s Mansion (which belongs to an infamous gangster). And if all that shopping makes you tired there are plenty of cafes and restaurants where you can relax and take a break from your busy day.
If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, why not try the beach? Rise City has its very own boardwalk with cafes, shops and fine dining experiences for those who prefer an al fresco meal.
What is there to do in Rise City?
There are so many options that it will depend on what your interests are! You could be a scientist at the university, working alongside brilliant students and famous professors. Maybe you’d rather run a business empire – owning a thriving company is just as prestigious as being a top lawyer or doctor.
Or perhaps you’d like to start your own band; Rise City has everything from nightclubs to music studios. But if you’re more interested in a life of crime, you can join a gang and run the streets as a brutal mob boss! There are so many choices that no two players will have identical experiences or even be playing the same type of life.
How do I start playing Rise City?
First, download The Sims™ FreePlay from the App Store, Google Play or Amazon. Once you’ve installed the game, enter your details and create your Sim.
What will my Sim do?
Every player’s experience is unique in Rise City. You decide how your character lives his or her life by choosing new activities every day. There are many ways to keep your Sim busy: you can study at the university, work a job and even start your own business!
Choosing what your Sim does each day is easy. In the main menu, select “My Sim” followed by “Goals”. There are three different activities to choose from:
- Goals
- Directly Involve Your Sim
- Roleplay
You can choose a new goal every few hours. Each goal comes with its own requirements – such as painting a masterpiece or earning a certain amount of money – which you must complete before moving onto the next goal.
Directly Involve Your Sim is an option that lets you choose what your Sim does each day without adding any requirements. You can also roleplay with your Sim by selecting this choice, then typing in something for your character to say or do!
What are the different activities you can do?
Your Sims can also go shopping, eat at restaurants and play with friends in Rise City. These options are available directly from the main menu; no need to set any requirements! Here’s some more information on these activities:
Shopping – Visit the shops and boutiques in Rise City like Victoire de Paris. There are clothes shops for fashion-conscious Sims, but there are also fun novelty stores hidden away if you want something different.
Restaurants – Head down to the food court and grab a bite to eat at one of the restaurants. There are many types available, from sushi to hamburgers!
Friends – Invite your friends over whenever you want! You can also visit other Sims’ homes if they allow you.
There are lots of other ways to keep your Sim busy in Rise City. You can read books or study for a degree at University, but be careful – there’s no way to guarantee that your Sim will pass their exams…
